On Oct. 31, Boone County Sherriff’s Office detectives received a report from a victim stating that a known suspect raped and sodomized her.
Nov. 9, detectives placed Alfredo Martinez, 44, of Union, under arrest.
The victim who was less than 12 years old at the time of the assaults, reported Martinez sodomized and raped her on at least three occasions between December 2016 and June 2017.
Through investigation, detectives were able to obtain admissions from Martinez, which further supported the victim’s disclosure.
Martinez is charged with three counts of Rape in the 1st degree, three counts of sodomy in the 1st degree and three counts of Incest.
He is currently being held at the Boone County Detention Center on $250,000 cash bond.
