A man was stabbed in Mainstrasse Village on Friday morning following an altercation with another man.
Covington Police told LINK nky that two men believed to be romantically involved with the same woman showed up to that woman’s home in the area of Ninth and Bakewell streets.
One was armed with a knife, the other with a bat.
The man holding the bat was stabbed and transported to a local hospital.
Covington Police Assistant Chief Brian Valenti said that the stabbing victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was expected to be released from the hospital, or was possibly already released.
As of 3:15 p.m. Friday, no arrests had been made, Valenti said. Detectives are still working to figure out the stories that are being told, he said.
“We have identified all individuals who were involved,” Valenti said.Â
