A portion of Senour Road, also known as KY 2047, will close to through traffic on Dec. 2 and 3 as the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet clears trees and brush along the corridor.
The work zone stretches 0.67 miles, from Fowler Creek Road to Cloverridge Drive. Crews will close the road from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. both days. Local traffic will still be allowed through, and the road will reopen each afternoon by 3 p.m.
KYTC announced in a news release that the project aims to enhance safety and drainage on Senour Road. Drivers are advised to find alternate routes during work hours.
Weather permitting, the project is expected to be finished by 3 p.m. Wednesday. Any changes to the schedule will be shared through KYTC District 6’s Roadshow updates.
