River Road between Amsterdam Road and the city of Bromley in Kenton County will close for at least three working days from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. beginning this Wednesday, Dec. 6.
The construction will allow crews to perform blacktop repairs for the winter season.
The road will reopen at 5 p.m. each day, but drivers who frequent the area will need to take the following detour during working hours. Take KY 371, Amsterdam Road, to Collins Road. From there, drivers should take Buttermilk Pike to Anderson Road, then Anderson to Bromley-Crescent Springs Road.
For updates on different road projects in the region, visit the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 6’s Roadshow webpage.
