Florence Police Department Community Resource officers and Volunteers in Policing will be at the Florence Dick’s Sporting Goods store on Wednesday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
The department is encouraging the residents to stop by and pick up some Florence Police Department promotional items. Additionally, officials noted officers will be available to establish a fingerprint and photo ID file for all children provided by the National Child Safety Council.
The fingerprint and photo ID file can be used by parents and guardians to aid in maintaining records of their children in the event of an emergency, officials noted.
