Gateway Community & Technical College is hosting an automotive career summer camp for rising high school sophomores, juniors or seniors.
June 12 through 14, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., students will learn shop safety, shop tools, lube oil and filter change, fluid checks, tire rotation, brake inspections, tire alignment, warning lights and basic diagnostics.
Students will also learn about careers in the automotive field, meet with automotive professionals to discuss job duties and education requirements, learn and apply new skills in open labs and make new friends.
