The Kentucky Department of Transportation is warning motorists of a traffic switch happening Thursday, April 6, on Mt. Zion Road.
More specifically, the switch will occur on KY 536/Mt Zion Road between U.S. 25/Dixie Highway and Sigmon Lane.
KY 536 eastbound and westbound traffic will still operate in one lane in each direction but will be shifted to the south side of the existing pavement to allow for bridge and pavement widening on the northern section of KY 536.
The left and right turn lanes from KY 536 westbound to U.S. 25 will remain in place.
Traffic will be controlled by flaggers during the traffic switch.
