Some Northern Kentucky cities recently received grants to help fund various programs and services intended to reduce liability and make the community safer.

These grants, known as Liability Grants, were presented by the Kentucky League of Cities and will be utilized in different ways by each city.

Union will be using their money to repair and replace sidewalks.

Taylor Mill “utilized the funds received from the grant to help us cover our Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA) fees this year,” per a release. They describe the CALEA as an “International Law Enforcement Accreditation.”

Fort Mitchell is using their money to purchase personnel services, including employee handbooks and KLC training.
