A 12-year-old boy involved in a two-vehicle collision in Florence on July 6 has died, according to the Boone County Sheriff’s Office.

Camden Hunter of Cincinnati died on Monday, July 13, at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. He was transferred to the hospital the morning of the crash following injuries sustained in the collision.

Hunter was one of two passengers in a vehicle driven by 75-year-old Shirley Hadden of Cincinnati. Hadden also died in the crash. It occurred while Hadden was attempting to turn left from the parking lot at 7405 Industrial Road. She was transported by Florence Emergency Management Services to St. Elizabeth Hospital in Florence, where she was pronounced dead.

The other passenger in the vehicle, Tia Williams, 70, of Cincinnati, sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the other car, Tia Wright, 52, of Erlanger, was also hospitalized with serious but non-life-threatening injuries, according to Boone County Sheriff’s Department officials.

The Boone County Sheriff’s Office Accident Reconstruction Unit is investigating the
collision. Speed and alcohol or drug impairment are not believed to be factors.
