The Campbell County Police Department is hosting a three-class women’s self-defense course this summer.

The classes are being held on Aug. 3, 10 and 17 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Campbell County Fire Training Center at 10 Fire Training Drive in Highland Heights. Participants must attend all three sessions.

In the class, participants will learn:

  • Awareness and prevention
  • Risk reduction
  • Defensive techniques
  • Escape strategies
  • Practical skills for real-world situations

Class sizes are limited to 20 participants. There is a waitlist available if classes fill. T-Shirts are available for purchase for $15.
