All southbound lanes of I-71/I-75 in Northern Kentucky have reopened after an hours-long closure due to a crash, the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet announced Friday.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet said the crash occurred around 2 p.m. Friday near the 186.1-mile point near Buttermilk Pike.

Drivers were diverted off the interstate to Buttermilk Pike (KY-371) during the closure.

KYTC did not say what caused the crash, how many vehicles were involved or if anyone was injured.
