The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet will host a public information session in July to share preliminary roadway designs and gather public input on two planned improvement projects along KY-536 in Kenton County.
Set 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 22, the meeting will focus on proposed improvements to the following portions of KY-536: from KY-16 to KY-177 and from KY-17 to KY-16. The meeting is scheduled to be held at the Independence Senior Center, 2001 Jackwoods Parkway.
Following completion of preliminary engineering and environmental studies, a preferred alternative has been identified for each project. These alternatives will be displayed for public review and comment during the meeting.
There will be no formal presentation during the open house. Instead, those who are interested may stop by at any time to review the preliminary designs, receive handouts with project information, and fill out comment sheets to provide citizen input. KYTC representatives will be on hand to answer any questions.
