Apartments at Latonia Terrace, a public housing complex in Covington, now have new energy-efficient windows and two new AC units in each of the complex’s 235 apartments.

The work on the apartments was completed the second week of June, according to the Housing Authority of Covington, which owns the complex.

The renovations represent a roughly $3.3 million investment in the complex, according to the housing authority.

“These upgrades were made to enhance comfort, energy efficiency and overall quality of life for residents,” according to a written statement from the housing authority. “The new windows provide improved insulation, increased natural light and greater energy performance, while the addition of two air conditioning units helps ensure a comfortable indoor environment during the warmer months.”
