The Villa Hills Civic Club has a new playground that’s now open to the public. The club held a dedication to the new playground on Friday.

“The Villa Hills Civic Club Playground is an investment in our community’s children,” said Villa Hills Civic Club President Ernie Brown, “and a reminder of the importance of spaces that bring people together to enjoy connection.”

Construction of the playground was made possible with a $150,000 grant from the Chase and Cole Foundation, which honors the memory of Chase and Cole Fischer–sons of Fischer Homes’ founder Greg Fischer and his wife, Amy Fischer–who died in a boating accident in 2023.

The playground is open to the public seven days a week. You do not need to be a member of the civic club to use the playground, although Brown encouraged parents whose children used the playground to consider joining. You can learn more about the Villa Hills Civic Club at villahillscivicclub.com.
