The Summit Hills Country Club raised $610 for Folds of Honor at its Memorial Day Open Play golf event on Monday, May 25.
The annual event allows members and guests to play a round of golf while honoring military service members and veterans. Donations were collected at the first tee, with proceeds benefiting Folds of Honor, according to a news release.
Founded in 2007, Folds of Honor is a nonprofit organization that provides scholarships to spouses and children of fallen or disabled U.S. service members. This was the eighth year Summit Hills has organized the Memorial Day event.
Summit Hills Country Club, located in Crestview Hills, has operated since 1929. The private, member-owned club includes an 18-hole golf course, swimming pool, tennis and pickleball courts, dining facilities and banquet space.
