Ramp closures related to the Brent Spence Corridor Project in Covington onto I-71 and I-75 have been delayed again, this time out to June 8, according to an announcement from the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet.
Closures were originally scheduled for May 20, but then some were delayed to May 26 around the middle of the month.
The following closures will now not take place until Monday, June 8 or after:
- I-71/75 northbound off-ramp to 12th Street/MLK Jr. Blvd.
- I-71/75 southbound on-ramp from 12th Street/MLK Jr. Blvd.
- Bullock Avenue from Pike Street to the on-ramp for I-71/75 southbound at 12th Street
- 12th Street between Simon Kenton Way and Bullock Avenue
- the two-way conversion of Simon Kenton Way
The scheduled timing for the reopening of Covington’s West 3rd Street and closure of the I-71/75 southbound off-ramp to West 5th Street will be announced at a later date.
