The City of Florence has launched its annual Community Photo Contest, inviting photographers of any experience level to submit original photos taken within the city’s limits.
Participants can submit up to three high-resolution color images in JPEG or PNG format by email between May 1 and May 15. Images should fall into one of three categories: landscape, people or landmarks. The city will recognize first-, second-, and third-place winners in each category, in addition to a Mayor’s Choice award.
Winning entries will be featured in the 2027 Florence Community Guide and may be used on the city’s website and social media channels.
The contest is open to everyone, regardless of residency in Florence, although the photo must be taken within Florence city limits.
