Area residents are invited to take part in an upcoming community cleanup effort in Bellevue and Dayton in recognition of Earth Day.

A cleanup event will take place on Sunday, April 26, in Bellevue and Dayton. The effort will kick off at 9:45 a.m. at Liquor King, 118 Sixth Ave., with cleanup from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Volunteers will assist with beautification efforts throughout both cities. 

Trash bags, gloves, safety vests and water will be provided. A limited number of trash grabbers will be available, and participants are encouraged to bring their own if possible.
