Highland Heights City Councilmember and Campbell County Republican Party Treasurer Jesse Hockenbury was arrested on Feb. 1 on charges of alleged sexual abuse in the third degree.
In Kentucky, sexual abuse, third degree (KRS 510.130) means a person is accused of subjecting another individual to sexual contact without their consent.
His arraignment is scheduled for Feb. 23 at 9 a.m. with Campbell County District Court Judge Erin Sizemore.
The Republican Part of Kentucky appointed Hockenbury to be the Campbell County Republican Party treasurer in October 2025. He was elected to the Highland Heights City Council in November 2024.
