The Emergency Shelter of Northern Kentucky in Covington is opening its doors as a warming center for people without housing during this weekend’s predicted winter weather.

The shelter will be opening as a warming shelter for adults aged 18 and over experiencing homelessness from Friday, Dec. 12 at 10 a.m. to Monday, Dec. 15 at 9 a.m., 24 hours a day.

The shelter is asking people to call ahead of time to (859) 291-4555 to check if there is enough room. The shelter is located on 436 West 13th Street in Covington.
