Need help understanding your VA benefits? Disabled American Veterans, also known as DAV, national service officers will be in Erlanger on Dec. 5, offering free, one-on-one guidance.

DAV is a nonprofit charity that provides support for veterans of all generations and their families, helping more than 1 million veterans each year.

One of the services DAV provides at no cost to veterans is its Information Seminar program. These seminars are available nationwide to help veterans and their families obtain the services and benefits they have earned. DAV is hosting an information seminar in the region on Dec. 5, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., at DAV National Headquarters, 860 Dolwick Drive in Erlanger.

Staffed by DAV national service officers, the information seminars provide professional support throughout the claims and appeals process.

Veterans attending a seminar should bring identification, their Social Security number and any other pertinent documentation regarding their military service. DAV membership is not required to utilize these free services.
