The Covington Motor Vehicle Parking Authority is inviting residents and business owners in Mainstrasse Village to attend a public meeting to discuss ongoing efforts to improve parking in the neighborhood.
Mainstrasse is among Covington’s busiest spots, attracting tourists, diners and bar hoppers. Much of the neighborhood’s free public parking is located along Main Street in front of various businesses. Limited street capacity often leads to frustration for visitors, residents, and business owners.
The meeting will take place at 6 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 10, at The Center for Great Neighborhoods, located at 321 W. 12th St. in Covington.
During the meeting, parking authority representatives will share proposed changes and strategies aimed at better addressing the parking needs of both residents and businesses. Attendees will also have the opportunity to ask questions and offer feedback to help guide future improvements.
