The National Weather Service issued both a frost advisory and a freeze watch Wednesday afternoon for Boone, Kenton and Campbell counties.
The frost advisory goes from 2 a.m. to 9 a.m. Thursday morning, and the freeze watch begins Thursday night and extends into Friday morning, according to a hazard warning from the National Weather Service.
Thursday night forecasts predict low temperatures of 34 degrees, just two degrees above the freezing point. Highs for the remainder of the week are expected to hover around the low 60s.
