Throughout the month of October, the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office will wear a special version of its traditional star badge featuring pink accents in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

“Awareness saves lives,” said Campbell County Sheriff Mike Jansen. “If even one person is inspired to get screened or support a loved one because they see our pink badges, then this effort will have been worth it.”
The initiative is part of a nationwide effort by law enforcement agencies to show support for those impacted by breast cancer, raise awareness about the importance of early detection, and honor the strength and resilience of survivors and their families.
