Several NKY education professionals and school counselors were honored in Lexington earlier this month at the annual Kentucky School Counselor Association’s fall conference.
Focused on the theme of “Stand Up! Speak Up! Show Up!” the conference “helps school counselors access required professional training while honing their skills for an emerging education landscape,” according to a press release from the association. “This year’s conference featured keynote speakers, professional development sessions and a legislative roundtable—all focused on equipping counselors with research-based training to better serve their students.”
