The City of Crescent Springs opened an inclusive, ADA-compliant community playground.
Crescent Springs hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday to celebrate the opening of a new fully inclusive, ADA-compliant playground at Lou Hartfiel Memorial Park.
“This playground represents the heart of Crescent Springs,” Mayor Mike Daugherty said in a news release. “It’s more than equipment—it’s a promise that every child in our community has a place to play, belong, and thrive. We’re proud to offer a destination families across Northern Kentucky can enjoy.”
Families attended the event, which featured free Kona Ice and the first opportunity to explore the new play space.
The playground includes features designed for children of all ages and abilities, including an ADA tower, an inclusive glider and sensory-focused play areas.
