The James E. Biggs Early Childhood Education Center in Covington has been honored with a 5-star rating from the Kentucky All STARS Rating system, which provides a quick shorthand for educational center quality in commonwealth.

“Our teachers and staff pour their hearts into ensuring that our children are learning, growing and cared for each day,” said Elizabeth Miller, principal at James E. Biggs, in a press release. “This recognition is a powerful reminder that their effort, teamwork and passion truly make a difference in the lives of our students.”

The rating was issued on Aug. 1 and will remain in place for three years from that date.

“I could not be more proud of the Biggs team,” said Superintendent Alvin Garrison in the same release. “Their dedication and hard work have truly paid off, and this recognition places them among the very best preschool centers in the commonwealth. This 5-star rating affirms their commitment to excellence and their unwavering support for our students and families.”
