Angela Turnick has been named the interim principal of Holmes High School.
“I am honored to serve as Interim Principal at Holmes High School, a community where I have dedicated my entire 20-year career,” Turnick said in a district press release. “With a deep commitment to fostering a student-centered and collaborative environment, I look forward to leading with trust, vision and a focus on continuous growth. Together with our talented staff and students, we will work to create innovative solutions and opportunities that support academic excellence and the well-being of every member of our school community.”
Turnick has spent her entire career at Covington Independent Public Schools. She has a master’s degree in educational leadership from NKU and formerly served as an English teacher, site-based decision-making council member, department head, instructional coach, assistant principal and co-interim principal. She earned a Golden Apple Award for Teaching Excellence in 2013.
