Due to the extent of the damage to Richardson Road in Kenton County, a landslide repair project has been extended.

The repair project began at the end of April on Richardson between Sherbourne Drive and Old Richardson Road. The transportation cabinet expects the work to now be completed by May 19.

“The 24/7 road closure remains in place; however, beginning Friday, May 9, the closure will be shifted southeast,” according to an announcement from KYTC. “Homeowners living north of 3517 Richardson Road (including homeowners on Webster Road) will utilize Turkeyfoot Road to Richardson Road to access their homes.”

The cabinet will announce any changes to the landslide repair as they occur.
