The National Weather Service has announced that the Northern Kentucky region is under a severe thunderstorm warning as of 1 p.m. Tuesday.

“Showers and thunderstorms are likely [Tuesday],” according to a previous hazardous weather warning from the National Weather Service. “Some storms may be strong to severe during the afternoon and evening, with damaging straight-line winds being the primary threat. Additionally, large hail and an isolated tornado cannot be ruled out.”
