Well, it looks like the warm weather was only here for a good time, not a long time.
Starting Saturday afternoon, a severe thunderstorm accompanied by strong winds and flooding is expected to roll through the Northern Kentucky region, per reports from the National Weather Service.
Light showers and wind gusts up to 35 miles per hour are possible overnight Friday. The storm is expected to hit after 3 p.m. Saturday, with rainfall amounts between 1 and 2 inches possible.
Temperatures will also drop drastically following the thunderstorm, with Saturday’s high expected to hit around 73 and Sunday’s high in the mid-50s.
