Multiple cities and departments in Boone, Kenton and Campbell Counties have been awarded liability grants from the Kentucky League of Cities, known as KLC.

“At KLC, we are dedicated to serving our members,” said KLC Executive Director and CEO J.D. Chaney in a press release. “We are grateful to be able to help our members fund important initiatives that reduce liability and provide the best quality of life for their citizens.”

In addition to advising Kentucky cities on policies, KLC provides liability insurance to many of the state’s cities. The grants provide funding to cities for infrastructure repair, safety improvements, law enforcement equipment and other measures that aid cities in reducing their insurance liability. The league has granted over $6.5 million to its members since 1999.
