An airsoft pellet gun caused a stir in Erlanger on Feb. 15, prompting police action after reports of a man near the train bridge with a possible firearm.
Murmurs circulated in the Erlanger/Elsmere Facebook group over the weekend about a man on the train underpass near Dixie Highway and Hallam Avenue in Erlanger with a possible gun and scope.
Erlanger Police Department Lieutenant and Public Information Officer Kimberly Klare confirmed with LINK nky that officers did arrest a subject on Feb. 15 who had a “rifle-style” airsoft pellet gun.
Klare said the man was taken into custody without incident and cooperated with officers and was taken to Kenton County Detention Center. There were no confirmed shots at passersby or vehicles.
