The Covington Fire Department successfully quelled a house fire in Latonia early Saturday morning, according to a social media post from the department, with no injuries reported.
Firefighters were called to the 4300 block of Michigan Avenue around 2 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 25.
“First arriving companies found a heavy fire condition on the first floor,” according to the fire department. “Crews worked several hours to contain the fire.”
Although neighboring houses withstood damage from the heat, no one was injured in the blaze.
