Covington Police is investigating a shooting that occurred in the city’s Mainstrasse neighborhood early Sunday morning. The suspect is still at large, but the police do not believe there is currently a threat to the public.
Officers arrived at a scene on the 400 block of West 7th Street around 3:35 a.m. after receiving reports of gun fire, according to a police press release. Police discovered two victims, who were later transported to UC Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. Several people witnessed the crime, according to police.
