Representative Steven Doan of Erlanger will serve as a member of the House Families and Children, Postsecondary Education, Primary and Secondary Education, and Local Government committees according to the office of House Speaker David Osborne.

“Its an honor to continue serving the people of my district and I’m committed to ensuring that their voices are heard in Frankfort. I’m incredibly grateful to play a role in shaping policy that will better the lives of Kentuckians across the state,” said Representative Doan.

Committee assignments, Osborne said, are always difficult, but this year was more so because of the combination of exceptional first time legislators and veteran lawmakers.

“The House Majority Caucus remains committed to making this state the best place to live and work,” Osborne said.

The 2025 Regular Session convened on Tuesday, January 7 and legislators will meet for 30 legislative days before adjourning by March 29.

Representative Doan serves the state’s 69th House District, which includes part of Boone and Kenton Counties.
