The Campbell County Police Department welcomed new police officer Robert Sewell on Wednesday.
Sewell was sworn in at the Campbell County Fiscal Court meeting on Jan. 8.
“We welcome you into the ranks and congratulate you on joining forces with us,” Campbell County Judge/Executive Steve Pendery said. “I think further we should say that Campbell County Fiscal Court understands the risks you take and challenges you face, and we offer our support in your career now and in the future.”
Campbell County Police Chief Craig Sorrell said Sewell is joining the department from Newport.
“I’m excited to be here and I look forward to being part of the team,” Sewell said.
