Brighton Center and Cincinnati’s Freestore Foodbank recently received $10,000 each in donations.

The donation came from Prysmian, a company in Highland Heights that is in the energy and telecom cable industry. Prysmian donated $10,000 to Brighton Center’s 2024 Holiday Drive and $10,000 to Cincinnati’s Freestore Foodbank, which is the largest emergency food provider to families in the region.

Brighton Center’s holiday drive is designed to relieve families’ burdens during the holiday season. The organization provides food and toys so families can focus on financial wellness and make lasting holiday memories. Brighton Center partners with individuals and families of all stages of life, from infants to older adults.

Cincinnati’s Freestore Foodbank distributes 47 million meals annually to low-income individuals and families. The Freestore Foodbank supports 611 community partners in 20 counties throughout Kentucky, Ohio and Indiana, including food kitchens, homeless shelters, emergency food pantries, social service centers and program sites.
