The Ludlow Fire Department is raising money for the Ludlow Volunteer Firefighter Association. The fundraiser will take the form of a door-knocking campaign, so Ludlow residents should be on the lookout for campaigners.

“Proceeds from the fund drive will be allocated to our volunteer fund account,” said a social media announcement from the fire department. “This account is used for acquiring, recruiting, retention, training materials and supplies.”

The department is asking for $20 contributions to the fund. Several local businesses have also stepped up to help with the drive by offering special offers for services and products. You can learn more about these offers by requesting special supporter cards.

To order supporter cards, call Dave Garland, who is working with the department on the fundraiser, at (513)546-2412. Direct questions to the department at (859)581-8600.
