Voters have selected the newest members of Boone County School Board.
The Boone County School Board is divided into five geographical divisions. Each division elects a single representative to serve on the board.Â
Incumbent Carolyn Hankins Wolfe defeated challenger Jeffrey Whittaker in the race for Boone County School Board’s Division 1 race. In Division 2, former teacher Julie Maddox defeated incumbent Maria Brown and challenger Antoine Smith-Rouse. Jesse Parks, the incumbent candidate in Division 3, ran unopposed.
Boone County Schools is Kentucky’s third-largest public school district, serving over 20,000 kindergarten through 12th-grade students.
