Here are the new members of the Boone County School Board

Voters have selected the newest members of Boone County School Board.

The Boone County School Board is divided into five geographical divisions. Each division elects a single representative to serve on the board. 

Incumbent Carolyn Hankins Wolfe defeated challenger Jeffrey Whittaker in the race for Boone County School Board’s Division 1 race. In Division 2, former teacher Julie Maddox defeated incumbent Maria Brown and challenger Antoine Smith-Rouse. Jesse Parks, the incumbent candidate in Division 3, ran unopposed.

Boone County Schools is Kentucky’s third-largest public school district, serving over 20,000 kindergarten through 12th-grade students.
