The Northern Kentucky branch of the NAACP will host its annual criminal record expungement clinic on Monday.
“Our Expungement Clinic is here to assist individuals seeking to clear their criminal backgrounds through the expungement process or those looking for guidance on how to begin,” said the NAACP in a press release.
The event will provide attendees with information on expunging their records, including information on necessary paperwork filing and resources for financial assistance. Attorneys will also be on hand to offer legal advice, although attendees must represent themselves in court.
The event will take place at the Covington Branch of the Kenton County Public Library on Sept. 30 from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.
