The City of Covington sent a notice this week reminding residents that property tax payments are due on Oct. 15.
Property tax bills have already been mailed to residents. Any resident with a delinquent balance that wasn’t paid in the past has been added to their current 2024 real estate tax bill. Failure to receive a bill does not void a resident’s obligation to pay by the due date.
The notice included a link to the city’s online portal for paying taxes. The link is also listed on the city’s finance department’s landing page and the How Do I? section.
Property owners can also pay their taxes by mail, phone and in person at city hall on Pike Street.
