The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet will close a portion of Dixie Highway, or Pike Street, in Covington for three weeks beginning Monday, Sept. 16. The closures will allow crews to complete a hill slide repair project.
The project is scheduled to last until at least Oct. 7.
Work will take place on Pike Street from just west of Grays Peak to south of West 12 Street, aiming to repair slide damage on the street coming around the bend into Covington.
Northbound single-lane closures will be in place 24/7 throughout the project. Drivers who frequent the area should plan accordingly.
