The Enzweiler Building Institute was awarded a $30,000 grant from the RC Durr Foundation.
Since its founding in 1967, the Enzweiler Building Institute has offered vocational education in Northern Kentucky. It hosts programs in carpentry, electrical work, plumbing, HVAC and other trades.
“We are incredibly grateful to the RC Durr Foundation for their continued support of our educational initiatives,” Enzweiler Building Institute President Brian Miller said in a press release. “This grant will have a significant impact on our ability to provide top-notch training and expand opportunities for students who are eager to enter the building trades. The investment in scholarships and materials will help us maintain the high standards of our programs and ensure that our graduates are well-prepared to contribute to the industry.”
The grant money will be distributed over a two year period with $20,000 being used to provide scholarships for students, while $10,000 will go toward materials support such as purchasing up-to-date tools and equipment.
