Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Covington will raffle off four select bourbon packages as well as three vacation packages to local residents over the next two weekends. All proceeds will benefit Catholic Charities.

The first raffle event, which will announce the vacation package winners, will take place at the Catholic Charities office on Church Street in Latonia on Friday, Aug. 16, at noon. Tickets are $25 each, and 500 tickets will be sold.

The vacation packages on offer include:

  • A Siesta Keys beach getaway for a week in a two-bedroom, two-bath condo in Siesta Breakers.
  • A four-night stay in a one-bedroom, one-bath room at the beautiful Buttes Resort by Marriott in Tempe, Arizona.
  • A one week stay from Dec. 14 to Dec. 21 in a three-bedroom, three-bath condo in Orlando at the Hilton Grand Vacations Club SeaWorld Orlando resort.

The second raffle event will take place on the following Friday, Aug. 25, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Dress Pavilion in Devou Park. Raffle tickets are $100 each, and 1000 tickets will be sold.

The three bourbon packages on offer include:

  • 1st Prize: Buffalo Trace Antique Collection, which contains Sazerac 18-year, Thomas H. Handy, William Larue Weller, Eagle Rare 17-year and George T. Stagg
  • 2nd Prize: Blanton’s GOLD Edition Full Complete Horse Collection
  • 3rd Prize: Whistle Pig Old World Rye 12-year, O.K.I. Straight Rye 5-year, Booker’s Uncut and Unfiltered Small Batch, Blackout 15 year, & Baker’s Single Barrel 7-year
  • 4th Place: Weller Special Reserve, Eagle Rare Single Barrel Select 10-year, E.H. Taylor Small Batch Bottled in Bond, Old Rip Van Winkle 10-year and Buffalo Trace
