A Jimmy Buffett inspired pop-up party is taking place this Friday, July 19 at the Highland Plaza in Fort Thomas.
The Highland Plaza, located at 654 Highland Ave., will be hosting the pop-up from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., featuring live music, inspired food and drinks from the local restaurants, plus opportunities for participants to shop local at the plaza’s stores.
The Klaberheads will be performing a Jimmy Buffett tribute from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and are encouraging all the parrot heads in the NKY and Cincinnati region to come dressed to party with them.
“Pop-Up events such as these help to put a spotlight on our amazing businesses here in the Fort,” said Chanda Calentine Fort Thomas Economic Development Director. “Our business districts work to come up with the themes, times, and dates for the pop-ups and we help to coordinate with them to bring in music and other community partners to help. We are very blessed to have businesses that want to participate and put together great community events with us.”
