The Covington-Cincinnati Suspension Bridge Committee, which manages and maintains the iconic Roebling Bridge connecting Cincinnati and Covington, is officially accepting entries for its annual Roebling Bridge photo contest.
The contest works to “promote awareness of the bridge, its beauty and its significance,” according to an announcement from the committee.
Photos could have been taken at any time throughout the year, but must be submitted in the month of July. Youth (7-17) category winners receive cash prizes and adult category winners win a trip to the top of the Roebling Bridge towers.
The contest features daytime and nighttime categories as well as an open category for video and digital pieces involving the bridge. The final day to submit an entry is July 31. Voting on the entries will take place from Aug. 15-22.
