Boone County Water Rescue successfully transported occupants of a burning boat to safety on Sunday.
Rescue Boat 219 encountered the burning vessel on the Ohio River near river mile marker 465 in Campbell County. The boat contained three adults and two children, who were successfully transported to safety with no injuries reported, according to an announcement from Boone County Water Rescue. The fire was also extinguished and the boat was towed to a safe location.
