The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 6 office announced a bridge repair project on the Taylor Southgate Bridge in Campbell County beginning on Wednesday, May 29.
Contractors will replace a safety cable on both sides of the bridge, which bridge inspectors utilize.
Work will begin on the northbound side of the bridge, with a single-lane and sidewalk closure from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. During this closure, Pedestrians may use the southbound sidewalk.
Once northbound work is complete, crews will move the single lane and sidewalk closure to the southbound side of the bridge. Pedestrians may use the northbound sidewalk during this closure.
The project has an expected completion date of July 1.
