At the May city council meeting, Fort Thomas Mayor Eric Haas and council members honored two residents who have served on the city’s Board of Adjustment.

Susan Wingard and Tom Duckworth have retired from the board after many years of service, the mayor said. While Duckworth was not present, Haas brought Wingard up to present her with a Certificate of Appreciation.

“This certificate is awarded to Susan Wingard to acknowledge the city’s appreciation for your years of dedicated service on the Board of Adjustment. On behalf of the city of Fort Thomas, Kentucky, I, Mayor Eric Haas, and City Administrator Matthew Kremer, send our utmost appreciation for your thorough dedication to the city and for helping to continue to make Fort Thomas a great community,” he said.
